HOME CARE SIMPLIFIED
ESSE Care is an Approved Provider of Home Care services in Victoria and NSW. This means that we can help you to access funding to pay for approved home care services of your choosing.
Home Care Support packages are funded by the Australian Government to help seniors pay for assistance to stay in their own home for as long as they choose.
To access a Home Care Support package, an assessment by the Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) is required to decide which package level is suitable for your needs.
Funding is split into four funding levels.
Level 1 - provides basic support
Level 2 - provides support for low level care needs
Level 3 - supports people with intermediate care needs
Level 4 - supports those with complex care needs
As a consumer-driven system you are free to allocate your home care package to key services delivered by any service provider of your choosing. The program is explained on the My Aged Care website.
